The Beginning: The Vision of Bernardo Monge

It all started in 1976. At a time when getting to Jacó was an adventure that involved crossing rivers without bridges, our grandfather, Bernardo Monge, had a vision. He saw the potential of this coast and founded one of the first hotels in the area, designed to welcome those who ventured to discover this paradise. He taught us that hospitality is not about beds and roofs, but about making every person feel welcome, like at home.
